Not all servers are created equal. Most 'unlimited' providers back up to low quality, slower servers. We use high quality, fast Dell RAID 6 servers that allows for faster back up from your computers.
We take a backup of the backup on a second RAID 6 server. This allows DDB to boast that we have never lost a file. Not every backup provider can make this claim. Make sure yours can.
We never automatically delete your data. If you delete a file from your PC, some unlimited providers will automatically delete it from your backup after 30 days. We don't. (Although we provide tools like the Cleanup Wizard to allow users to manage their data).
